Anne Marie Horner, Terry Horner and Beth Devine will be honored with the 2018 SquashSmarts Distinguished Service Award at the FS Investments U.S. Open. The ceremony will happen on the ASB GlassCourt at Drexel University’s Daskalakis Athletic Center during SquashSmarts VIP Night at the U.S. Open on Monday, October 8.

Julieanne Harris, the director of squash at Philadelphia Cricket Club, will be awarded the Achievement Bowl during Women in Sports Day at the FS Investments U.S. Open on Wednesday October 10 at Drexel University. The fifth-annual WISD features a panel discussion at 4pm; a cocktail reception at 5pm with remarks and award presentations; and then that evening’s quarterfinal matches.

Abby Markoe will be awarded the Feron’s Wedgwood Sportsmanship Trophy at the 2018 FS United States Open. The ceremony will be on Tuesday October 9 as a part of Character in Sports Day.
Markoe (pictured above, center) is the executive director of SquashWise, the urban squash program in Baltimore. 
The McIntosh/Hand family will receive the Philadelphia Squash Racquets Association’s Service Award at the 2018 United States Open on Saturday, October 6. The ceremony will be on the ASB GlassCourt following the 5:30pm match. 
The 2018 FS Investments U.S. Open Squash Championships draws have been released as Egypt's world No. 1's Nour El Sherbini and Mohamed ElShorbagy lead the field as top seeds, October 6-13, at Drexel University's Daskalakis Athletic Center in Philadelphia.
