With a seating capacity of 1,200 squash fans, there’s lots of choices available for anyone coming to watch the Delaware Investments US Open here at Drexel University in Philadelphia, the home of US Squash.
Naturally some of the best seats are reserved for the tournament sponsors, without who there would be no event, but regular fans can choose between Premium, Preferred, Plus, or General seating, all with differing views of the action, and of course prices – not that any of them could be billed as expensive considering the quality of sporting action you’ll be able to watch.
There are special padded leather courtside seats for the players too, as illustrated here by Stewart Boswell, which surely must be the “best seats in the house” with the tournament logo lovingly embroidered onto the backrest.
However where there’s a best, there’s always a worst, and there’s no doubt about which is the worst seat in the house – don’t let anyone try to charge you for sitting in this one !!!
