Tickets on sale in April!

Fans of the U.S. Open will be thrilled to hear that tickets for the 2013 Delaware Investments U.S. Open Squash Championships are set to go on sale in April!

The U.S. Open is one of the squash world’s most anticipated events, attracting the highest ranked players from every corner of the globe to compete for one of the sport’s largest purses and biggest titles.

In a world first for squash, from this year the U.S. Open will provide equal prize money for both the women’s and men’s championships, with the total prize purse set at $230,000 between the two draws ($115,000 each).

This year’s tournament will take place October 9-18 at the Daskalakis Athletic Center on the campus of Drexel University in Philadelphia.

Last year saw the both the current world #1 players – Ramy Ashour from Egypt and and Nicol David from Malaysia – crowned the U.S. Open champions.

While the event will also be broadcast through Squash TV, nothing compares to seeing the action live and up close on the state-of-the-art, all glass, center court.
